Arrested three times, suspended more times than you can count and on the same path as those around him - life at 12 years old for Randell Adjei was looking bleak.

However, a chance encounter saw Randell discover poetry. Through the power of telling his own story, his words enabled him to help others. When he began holding weekly 'RISE' events, he started a movement. Reaching Intelligent Souls Everywhere (RISE) is a community led by youth, comprised of artists, activists, free-thinkers and revolutionaries. In an unforgiving world, it became a safe place for everyone to call home.

In the fast-paced age of digital media, the rise of the citizen-journalist has been unprecedented. It is no longer up to esteemed and qualified journalists to bring us the breaking news. If you have a camera, you can be a media creator.

Pascal Marchand has made a living out of capturing the news before anyone else can. However whilst his profession brings results, it also raises questions of ethics and morality.
